You've seen so many houses all around you. You might have seen some of the unusual houses too. But have you seen a house that looks like a piano? The Piano House in China is an unusual house and it resembles a piano. There is also a transparent violin leaning against the piano. The Piano House is located at Huainan City in An Hui Province, China. This unique building serves as an exhibition center for the district of Shannan.



Piano house consist of two musical instruments - a transparent Violin leaning against Piano. The piano shaped house is the main building and the transparent violin works as the entrance. Inside the violin, there is staircase toward the piano house upstairs. The building was designed by the students of the Hefey University of Technology in collaboration with the designers of the company “Huainan Fangkai Decoration Project Co”. The house was built in 2007 by the local government to draw interest to the newly developed area.



Different modern materials have been used to construct the romantic building especially - the black and transparent glass. The Piano House was built for music lovers and acts as a performance and practicing place to music students from the local college in Huainan City. This unique building also serves as an exhibition center for the district of Shannan. There is a breadboard model inside house that displays various city plans and development prospects in an effort to draw interest into the recently developed area.
