Registan Square - A Beautiful Place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan

The Registan Square in Samarkand is one of the most beautiful collections of amazing buildings in the whole of Asia. It is one of the most beautiful places in Uzbekistan. The Registan Square was the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Timurid dynasty. Today, it is one of the main tourist attractions of the country because of its rich architecture and culture.

The Registan Square is home to spectacular monuments of the 15-17th century Islamic culture and architecture. The monuments feature stunning mosaic work in its grand form. The square consists of three Madrassahs: the Ulugh Beg Madrassah, Sher-Dor Madrassah and the Tilya-Kori Madrassah. These Madrassahs were built between the 15th and 17th century.

The Registan is now considered as one of the most beautiful places in Uzbekistan. It is also one of the most popular places in the country. However, it was a public square where people gathered to hear royal proclamations in the earlier time. It was also used as a place of public executions.
