Meteora is a unique and spectacular landscape in central Greece. It is one of the most beautiful places in Greece. The area of Meteora on the Greek mainland is a collection of six
monasteries that were constructed on limestone rocks many centuries ago. It is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece.
