Yosemite Falls - The Highest Waterfall in North America

Yosemite Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. It is the highest measured waterfall in North America and the sixth highest waterfall in the world. Yosemite Falls is located in Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada of California. It is the main attraction in the park.

Yosemite Falls comes tumbling off a sheer cliff at the top and ends up 2,425 feet below. This waterfall is a beauty to watch especially in late spring when the water flow is at its peak. Yosemite Falls have inspired countless residents and visitors, and continue to leave life-long impressions on all who stand in their presence.

Yosemite Falls consists of three sections - the Upper Falls, the Middle Cascades, and the Lower Falls. The upper fall is formed by the swift waters of Yosemite Creek which hurl themselves over the edge of a hanging valley. It is a 1,430 feet plunge and alone is among the twenty highest waterfalls in the world. The Middle Cascades is a collection of five smaller plunges between the two obvious main plunges. Adjacent to an accessible viewing area is the Lower Falls which is a 320-foot drop. It is the most viewed section of the Yosemite Falls.

I don’t think if anyone visited the Yosemite National Park then they missed Yosemite falls. I never forget to visit the fall during my upcoming yosemite tour from Los Angeles . I love to the Yosemite falls due to its charming locations. Many of the natural attractions in Yosemite require some hiking, but this one is an easy stroll to a wonderful view of the falls. It was so great and worth a trip.
