Bandarban: A Place of Pure Natural Beauty
Bandarban, a beautiful hilly district, is located in the South-Eastern part of Bangladesh. Badarban means 'dam of monkeys' in Bangla.
Bandarban is the home of pure natural beauty like green hills, lakes and
small waterfalls.
The top three highest hill peaks of Bangladesh - Tajingdong, Keokradong and Chimbuk Hill are located in this region. Among other beautiful places Boga Lake, Meghla and Nilachal, Nafakhum and Remakri, Nilgiri and Thanchi, Prantik Lake, Rijuk Waterfall, Sangu River, Shoilo Propat, Raj Vihar and Ujanipara Vihar are very important.
